Job summary

NextGen Solutions Corporation is seeking a Security Architect Consultant for a fully remote, nationwide role requiring 8+ years of experience. The contractor will focus on security engineering, automation, scripting, and tool development, with hands-on work across IAM, DSPM, ASM, vulnerability management, SIEM and XDR.

The position involves on-call rotation, incident response automation, and collaboration with SOC teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineering across multiple technologies and operations.
• Experience integrating enterprise technologies via APIs, SDKs and web services.
• Strong troubleshooting across apps, OS, networks and identity services.
• Linux deployment, patching, scripting, monitoring and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, design, develop, deploy and support enterprise security automation tools, including Python-based automations and internal web apps.
• Maintain security dashboards, case management, notifications and reporting; enable CVE vetting and vulnerability enrichment.
• Support IAM, DSPM, ASM, vulnerability management, SIEM, XDR, and other security technologies.
