Job summary

Solü Technology Partners is seeking a Security Specialist for a fully remote role. You will plan, implement, and manage security measures to protect Solü’s data and networks, with a focus on vulnerability management, Qualys scanning, and SCCM/MECM patching across Windows endpoints and servers.

You will coordinate remediation efforts, ensure patch compliance, and promote security best practices to keep Solü’s infrastructure secure and compliant across environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in network security, threat detection, incident response and vulnerability management.
• 10+ years hands-on experience administering Qualys and patch management processes.
• 10+ years Microsoft SCCM/MECM administration.
• Experience with vulnerability scan reports, remediation tracking, risk assessment and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to system and/or network security breaches.
• Design and maintain SCCM/MECM patching strategies for Windows endpoints and servers.
• Create and manage SCCM device collections, deployment groups, maintenance windows and software update schedules.
• Coordinate vulnerability information from Qualys with SCCM patching data to identify vulnerable systems.
• Perform vulnerability-first remediation by identifying assets and appropriate changes.
• Analyze patch compliance deployment status and non-reporting devices.
• Manage Software Update Points, WSUS synchronization and ADRs.
• Troubleshoot SCCM client installation, health, policy retrieval and content download failures.
• Develop procedures for emergency patch deployment for critical vulnerabilities.
• Package and deploy third-party application updates and security fixes.
• Create and maintain SCCM runbooks, patching procedures and deployment standards.
• Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities.
• Establish best practices and security standards for the organization.
