Job summary

11:11 Systems is seeking a Security Engineer, Infrastructure Operations, to lead Vulnerability & Threat Management across enterprise infrastructure. This full-time remote role in the USA reports to the Director of Infrastructure Security and requires hands-on expertise in vulnerability scanning, threat intelligence, and remediation automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on vulnerability and threat management.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management platforms (Rapid7 InsightVM preferred).
• Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Ansible).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mature the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Vulnerability & Threat Management programs.
• Operate and tune vulnerability scanning tools across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Analyze vulnerability data and prioritize remediation based on risk and business impact.
• Integrate threat intelligence feeds and SIEM platforms to enhance detection and response.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to drive remediation and reduce risk.
• Align processes with NIST 800-53, CIS, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001 and support audits.
• Automate remediation and reporting workflows; develop policies for secure baselines.
• Lead incident response and threat hunting activities; leverage AI to improve security posture.
