Job summary

EVOTEK in Oakland, CA is seeking a Security Solutions Engineer to lead technical pre-sales activities, partner with Account Executives to drive opportunities, and design service offerings that address client cybersecurity needs.

You will deliver presentations and demos, translate complex security concepts into business terms, and build trusted advisor relationships across client teams and partners, influencing security strategy and growth.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated experience selling cybersecurity solutions to clients.
• Direct professional experience managing pipeline and bookings based upon sales targets.
• Strong working knowledge of enterprise-wide cybersecurity solutions and how to integrate them.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical pre-sales activities and drive opportunities from identification through booking.
• Establish productive relationships with client teams as a trusted advisor and consultant.
• Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities through technical expertise, account management and client focus.
• Design, communicate and evangelize cybersecurity solutions to solve client problems.
• Deliver security presentations and demos to clients and partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with technical resources at all levels of the client organization.
• Leverage partner alliances to increase opportunity identification.
• Develop white papers and knowledge base articles as needed.
