Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a seasoned Security Solutions Engineer (SSE) to strengthen customer IT security. You’ll function as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring health, performance, and optimization of DLP and CASB solutions in enterprise environments.

You will implement, configure, and continuously improve technologies such as DLP and CASB, collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and deliver secure, scalable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies and/or Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts, systems administration, Windows Server, and Unix/Linux.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical SME for DLP and CASB technologies, guiding customers and internal teams.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for customer environments, including upgrades, patching, maintenance, and break/fix scenarios.
• Design, configure, and optimize DLP and CASB policies and detection logic to improve customer security posture.
• Collaborate with Program Analysts and fellow SSEs to develop and tune customer security solutions.
• Ensure systems are scalable to support future customer growth.
