Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Security Solutions Architect to join our Technology Architecture team, delivering expert security advisory services and architecting complex cybersecurity solutions for enterprise customers.

You will translate business and security requirements into scalable security architectures, collaborating with sales, engineering, operations, and executives as a trusted advisor shaping offerings and guiding strategic security initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information security, CS, or related field.
• 10+ years as an information security professional with leadership in security engagements.
• Experience translating security requirements into scalable architectures for enterprise clients.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cloud, DevOps, and security platforms across multiple domains.
• Must possess at least one CISSP/CISM/CISA/GSEC or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Transform customer security requirements into clear, scalable security solutions and architectures.
• Lead security solution development for strategic initiatives and high-visibility opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build consensus on technical approaches and architectures.
• Architect and position managed and professional security services across the customer lifecycle.
• Create diagrams, designs, statements of work, and customer-facing security collateral.
• Provide thought leadership across cybersecurity domains and contribute to new service offerings.
• Present strategies and recommendations to executives and technical audiences.
