Lumen is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and support security solutions across MFA, endpoint security, email security, and Data Loss Prevention. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information/Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience in cloud security and knowledge of MFA, DLP, Email Security and Endpoint Security.
• Ability to obtain Government Suitability; strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus.
• Pursue or possess certifications such as AWS Certified Security — Specialty, Microsoft Azure Security, CCSP.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security solutions for cloud environments.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts in the cloud.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans of cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation for cloud security.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure comprehensive security measures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with security trends, threats, and cloud technologies.
• Provide operational engineering support for MFA, Endpoint Security, Email Security and DLP as needed.
