Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a Security Researcher to join the Counter Adversary Operations Team. This role involves tracking Latam-language eCrime actors across diverse environments, including the deep and dark web, to deliver unique intelligence for CrowdStrike customers and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is OPSEC-savvy, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects with minimal direction, while collaborating with analytic teams and adapting to dynamic cyber threat landscapes.

Qualifications

• Language capabilities including, but not limited to, Spanish and Portuguese.
• Experience conducting OSINT investigations using Latam-language skills.
• Experience navigating a wide variety of cyber threat actor environments, including social media, hidden services, and forums.
• Familiarity with eCrime groups and Latam-language actors.
• Practical knowledge of technical terminology, tools, and tactics employed by Latam-language eCrime actors.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making and efficiency.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and solve problems with persistence.
• Ability to work in a team and independently under tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collect information on Latam-language eCrime actors and related tools, tradecraft, and techniques.
• Use OSINT tradecraft to follow leads and identify actors across online communities.
• Identify current and emerging cyber threats related to Latam-language actors.
• Collaborate with teams producing analytical reports and threat estimates on Latam topics.
• Apply secure operational tradecraft practices.
