Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a self-starting Security Researcher to join the Counter Adversary Operations Team. You will track Latam-language eCrime actors across diverse environments, including deep/dark web, to provide intelligence products for CrowdStrike customers and stakeholders.

You will work on concurrent projects, with minimal direction, leveraging OSINT skills and AI tools to enhance decision-making and streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• Spanish and Portuguese language capabilities.
• Experience conducting OSINT investigations using Latam-language skills.
• Experience navigating diverse cyber threat actor environments, including social media, hidden services, and forums.
• Familiarity with eCrime groups in general.
• Knowledge of technical terms, tools, and tactics used by Latam-language eCrime actors.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making and workflows.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments with persistence.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with minimal guidance.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collect timely information to answer established and ad hoc requirements related to eCrime actors, especially Latam-language actors.
• Use OSINT tradecraft to follow leads and track actors in online communities.
• Identify current and emerging cyber threats and trends related to Latam-language actors.
• Collaborate with teams producing analytical threat estimates on Latam topics.
• Apply secure operational tradecraft practices.
