Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Security Researcher to join the Counter Adversary Operations Team. The role focuses on Latam-language eCrime actors, collecting timely information and producing insights used in finished intelligence products for customers.

The candidate will be an OPSEC-savvy problem solver, capable of managing concurrent projects with minimal direction and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Spanish and Portuguese language capabilities.
• Experience conducting OSINT investigations using Latam-language skills.
• Experience navigating cyber threat actor environments (social media, forums, hidden services).
• Familiarity with eCrime groups in general.
• Knowledge of technical terminology, tools, and tactics used by eCrime actors (Latam focus).
• Experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collect actionable information on Latam-language eCrime actors.
• Follow up on leads and track actors in online communities using OSINT methods.
• Identify current cyber threats and trends related to Latam-language actors.
• Collaborate with teams producing analytical threat reports on Latam topics.
• Use secure operational tradecraft in day-to-day work.
