Job summary

Unqork is seeking a Security Operations Analyst to safeguard critical assets in a remote-first environment. You will monitor SIEM/EDR, drive threat detection, and collaborate with Engineering, IT and Product to embed security into architecture. The role requires 3+ years in Security Operations and SOC exposure with strong communication to leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Security Operations with 2+ years in SOC-related work.
• Hands-on expertise with threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with NIST, MITRE ATT&CK and practical security workflows.
• Strong communication skills for diverse audiences and leadership.
• Certs such as CISSP/CISM/GCIA/OSCP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM/EDR/XDR and triage alerts using playbooks.
• Develop automations with SOAR to reduce repetitive tasks.
• Engineer SIEM data ingestion and threat detection rules.
• Review threat intel and IoCs to inform defense.
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Product to embed security requirements.
