Huntress is a remote-first cybersecurity company seeking a Security Operations Center Analyst to triage, investigate, respond, and remediate intrusions daily. You’ll work with a mission-driven team protecting customers worldwide while advancing your analyst skills and career.

Reporting to the Manager of Security Operations, this role offers a base salary range with bonus and equity. Training occurs Monday–Friday, with potential shift changes after onboarding to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a SOC or Digital Forensics (DFIR) role.
• Demonstrated experience with Windows, Linux, and MacOS as an attack surface.
• Demonstrated experience with basic Threat Actor tools and techniques: MITRE ATT&CK, PowerShell, Command Prompt, etc.
• Demonstrated experience with static and dynamic malware analysis concepts.
• Working knowledge of Windows Administration or Enterprise Domain Administration.
• Working knowledge of core networking concepts.
• Working knowledge of web technologies and concepts.
• Effective communication skills to explain complex events to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Triage, investigate, and respond to alerts from the Huntress platform.
• Analyze telemetry and artifacts to determine root causes and remediate threats.
• Perform malware analysis as part of investigations.
• Investigate suspicious Microsoft M365 activity and provide remediations.
• Assist in escalations from Product Support for threat-related questions.
• Contribute to detection engineering and tuning efforts.
• Collaborate with teammates to improve outcomes for analysts and partners.
