Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Software Engineer, Security Observability to help build secure, scalable systems that strengthen our security observability infrastructure. You will design and maintain data pipelines, and collaborate with Detection & Response and other security teams to reduce risk.

This role can be remote, with relocation assistance to our San Francisco, Seattle, or New York offices.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience with security awareness.
• Experience building data pipelines for security use cases.
• Background in infrastructure as code and cloud platforms.
• Ability to collaborate with security and engineering teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach to security data visibility.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable software systems for security observability across the infrastructure.
• Build and maintain data pipelines centralizing security-relevant data.
• Improve resilience and availability of data systems.
• Collaborate with D&R and other teams to reduce security risk.
• Contribute to data engineering for forensic investigations and compliance.
