Job summary

Ada is hiring a Security Infrastructure Engineer to own cloud and platform security end to end, across AWS and Azure, and to build guardrails into our agentic AI platform. You will mentor engineers, set security direction, and translate risk into concrete engineering solutions.

You will define threat models, automate responses, and lead on-call readiness while partnering with product teams to raise the security bar across Ada’s security operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud, infra, or security engineering roles with cross-team scope.
• Deep hands-on experience with one major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• Strong in cloud IAM, networking, secrets management, and distributed systems.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and policy as code; prefer automation over manual review.
• Experience with detection/response tools (SIEM, CSPM/CIEM, cloud monitoring).
• Experience with securing LLM/agentic AI systems and guardrails.
• Track record turning recurring requests into self-serve tooling.
• Ability to translate compliance requirements into technical implementations.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and operate security tech across cloud, network, identity, and app layers.
• Define cloud security reference architectures, threat models, and guardrails.
• Own security tooling lifecycle: cloud-native security services, SIEM, CSPM, CIEM, EDR, DLP, and vulnerability management.
• Build safety guardrails into the platform to prevent agent bypasses reaching customers.
• Lead automation for response and remediation using cloud-native tooling and SOAR.
• Mentor engineers and drive secure coding standards within product development.
