Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager of Security Engineering & Platforms to lead multiple cybersecurity engineering teams responsible for foundational security platforms and services across enterprise. You will drive strategy, optimize platforms, and ensure reliable operation of security technologies supporting detection, response, automation, and cyber defense programs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cybersecurity platforms, infrastructure, or engineering functions.
• Experience supervising technical teams in cybersecurity, information technology, or related fields.
• Understanding of security monitoring, automation, and cyber defense platforms.
• Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and vendor relationships.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multiple Security Engineering & Platform teams.
• Establish strategic direction and roadmaps for cybersecurity platforms.
• Collaborate with internal customers, technology teams, and stakeholders.
• Mentor team members and support professional development.
• Oversee enterprise security monitoring, automation, and defense platforms.
• Manage cloud-hosted and on-premise infrastructure.
• Drive automation via orchestration, scripting, and APIs.
• Ensure platforms are monitored, maintained, and improved for security and efficiency.
• Lead platform lifecycle activities including upgrades and migrations.
• Support incident response and security operations with platform engineering.
• Execute security engineering projects and vendor evaluations.
• Partner with Security Architecture to transition technologies to operations.
• Develop and maintain operational processes and documentation.
• Manage workload, priorities, budgets, and resources.
