Peraton is seeking a Security Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership for security across federal environments. You will shape security architecture, implement Zero Trust controls, and drive authorization, risk remediation, and continuous monitoring in hybrid/multi-cloud settings.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience or Master’s with 10+ years
• Experience with FedRAMP High and zero trust in federal environments
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and federal security requirements
• Experience with cloud security architecture and IAM across large environments

Responsabilités

• Apply federal security requirements (NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP baselines)
• Collaborate with cloud, infra, and compliance teams to implement security controls
• Lead ATO activities and continuous monitoring for compliance
• Support vulnerability management and incident response planning
• Lead Zero Trust implementation across large federal environments
• Assess AI-enabled security capabilities for risk and governance
