Peraton is seeking a Security Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership across security architecture and engineering for federal environments. The role focuses on protecting cloud infrastructure, applications, networks, identities, and data while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The candidate should have FedRAMP High experience, strong NIST knowledge, and the ability to implement Zero Trust across large-scale federal environments. Remote work with EST hours is available.

Qualificações

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• 12+ years of experience with a Bachelors, or 10+ with a Master’s, or 14 with an Associates, or 16 with a high school diploma.
• Experienced in FedRAMP High or federal cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and federal security requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Apply federal security requirements (NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP baselines).
• Collaborate with cloud, compliance, and operations to implement security controls.
• Lead security engineering efforts for ATO authorization and maintenance.
• Support continuous monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and evidence collection.
• Develop remediation strategies to meet authorization requirements.
