Peraton is seeking a Security Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership for security capabilities across federal environments, including design, implementation, and evolution of controls for cloud, identity, encryption, logging, and vulnerability management.

The role focuses on FedRAMP High and Zero Trust across large-scale federal enterprise, translating security requirements into scalable technical solutions while collaborating with architecture, infrastructure, and DevSecOps teams.

Qualifikationen

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Experience supporting ATO efforts within FedRAMP High or federal environments.
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and FedRAMP baselines.
• Experience implementing Zero Trust architectures at scale across large federal environments.
• Ability to translate security requirements into practical technical implementations.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical leadership for security capabilities across federal environments and lead security architecture initiatives.
• Lead design and implementation of security controls for cloud, identities, networks, and data.
• Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, DevSecOps, compliance, and operations teams.
• Support ATO processes, continuous monitoring, and evidence collection to maintain security posture.
• Assess risks, identify gaps, and develop remediation strategies for compliance.
• Apply Zero Trust principles across identity, devices, networks, applications, workloads, and data.
• Evaluate AI-enabled security capabilities for effectiveness, risk, and governance.
