Qualifications

• Extensive security engineering experience, with hands-on production security across large-scale systems.
• Experience securing Linux, networks, containers/Kubernetes, and IaC in live environments.
• Proven ability to define and implement security policies adopted by engineering teams.
• Experience with key management, signing workflows, HSMs, and secrets rotation.
• Strong incident response leadership: detection, containment, postmortems, and tabletop exercises.
• Cryptography fundamentals as applied to blockchain and key management.
• Senior-level ownership, clear communication, and influence without authority.
• Genuine interest in crypto and on-chain systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the security posture of the L1 infrastructure, validators, RPC, signing services, and related systems.
• Define and implement engineering security policies, access control, and secure SDLC.
• Drive application and supply-chain security, including SBOM, scanning, and secure-by-default patterns.
• Design multisig governance, signing ceremonies, and key lifecycle for treasury and ops.
• Build and lead incident-response capabilities, including drills and postmortems.
• Coordinate external audits, bug bounties, and responsible disclosure.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and L1 teams to ensure secure upgrades and operations.
