Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Security Engineer to join the Threat Intelligence & Detection Engineering (TIDE) team. You will help build and refine detections for CrowdStrike's infrastructure, while driving automation, analytics, and scalable response capabilities.

A successful candidate will research attacker techniques, establish automation for detection and response at scale, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mature a robust detection ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Experience in Security Engineering, Incident Response, or related fields.
• Experience with security detection and response technology (SOAR & SIEM) products.
• Experience with big-data processing tools (LogScale, Splunk, Kibana).
• Experience curating network and host-based detections.
• Cloud security across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS with major cloud providers.

Responsibilities

• Drive security analytics, automation, and provide strategic and tactical awareness.
• Research attacker techniques and automate detection/response at scale.
• Create and mature resilient operational capabilities to support CrowdStrike's security goals.
