Job summary

GuidePoint Security is seeking a Security Engineer to support Heartland (Remote) in the Denver, CO area, focusing on network security, firewalls, and advisory services. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic security guidance for top enterprise clients.

You’ll work with cutting-edge tools, deliver security architectures, and grow into a trusted security advisor shaping client security posture across multiple industries. Remote work within the U.S. is supported with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with adjacent security solutions such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Zscaler, Defender suite, Carbon Black, Splunk, Cisco security products.
• Experience authoring security runbooks, policies, and best practice documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical resource for clients, delivering hands-on support and security best practices in network security.
• Collaborate with sales to scope solutions and present security architectures.
• Build deep expertise in network security platforms and translate capabilities into business outcomes.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholders through empathy and listening.
• Produce clear security assessments, architecture recommendations, and implementation guides.
• Expand knowledge across adjacent security domains and drive toward security strategy.
