Job summary

Coinbase Corporation is seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security controls for corporate endpoints. You will work with IT and engineering teams to protect users and data while minimizing friction, contributing to the security posture of Coinbase.

You will review enterprise systems, ship security projects end-to-end, and guide engineers through code reviews. A strong background in security engineering and production code is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of security engineering experience, with at least 2 years securing macOS or similar endpoints in an enterprise environment.
• Proven ability to write production code (services, integrations, automations) that supports corporate infrastructure security.
• Experience scoping, prioritizing, and shipping security projects end-to-end in fast-moving environments.
• Familiarity with device trust, zero trust network access, or endpoint security products (e.g., Cloudflare, Prisma Access, Zscaler).
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and improve workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions to harden Coinbase's endpoints and devices across macOS, Chromebooks, and mobile.
• Perform security reviews on enterprise systems and software enabling user productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate endpoint and SaaS security into broader engineering initiatives.
• Identify and close data exfiltration paths from local AI agents and developer tooling on corporate endpoints.
• Provide technical guidance and code review support to engineers on the CorpSec team.
