Job summary

Coinbase Corporate Security (CorpSec) is seeking a Security Engineer to build and maintain security controls protecting corporate infrastructure, devices, apps, and network communications.

You will partner with IT and engineering to identify risks and ship tailored solutions that keep users secure without friction, aligning with Coinbase's remote-first approach and quarterly in-person surges.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of security engineering experience.
• 2+ years securing macOS or similar endpoints in enterprise.
• Proven ability to write production code (services, integrations, automations).
• Experience shipping security projects end-to-end with minimal direction.
• Familiar with device trust / zero trust products (e.g., Cloudflare, Prisma Access, Zscaler).
• Generative AI used responsibly with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for endpoints and devices.
• Perform security reviews on enterprise systems and software enabling productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to integrate security into engineering initiatives.
• Identify and close data exfiltration paths from AI agents and tooling on endpoints.
• Provide technical guidance and code review support to engineers.
