Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Security Engineer to build and maintain security controls for corporate endpoints, devices, and network communications. You will partner with IT and engineering to identify risks and ship tailored solutions that protect Coinbase's data while minimizing friction.

You will design and implement secure endpoints, perform enterprise security reviews, and drive end-to-end security projects in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of security engineering experience, including macOS or similar endpoints in an enterprise environment.
• Proven ability to write production code (services, integrations, automations) for corporate security.
• Experience shipping security projects end-to-end with minimal direction in fast-moving environments.
• Familiarity with device trust, zero trust network access, or endpoint security products.
• Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for macOS, Chromebooks, and mobile endpoints.
• Perform security reviews on enterprise systems and software enabling user productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate endpoint and SaaS security into broader initiatives.
• Identify and close data exfiltration paths from local AI agents and developer tooling on corporate endpoints.
• Provide guidance and code review support to engineers to raise the security bar across the organization.
