Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Security Engineer to build and maintain security controls for corporate infrastructure, user devices, and enterprise applications. You will partner with IT and engineering to identify risks and deliver security solutions that protect Coinbase’s data.

The role focuses on securing macOS, Chromebooks, and mobile endpoints, implementing secure configurations, threat detection, and user-friendly security posture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of security engineering experience in an enterprise environment.
• At least 2 years securing macOS or similar user endpoints.
• Proven ability to write production code (services, integrations, automations) for security.
• Experience scoping, prioritizing, and shipping security projects end-to-end with minimal direction.
• Familiarity with device trust / zero trust networking / endpoint security products.
• Uses generative AI responsibly, with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for endpoints and mobile devices.
• Perform security reviews on enterprise systems and software used in the corporate environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into engineering initiatives.
• Identify and close data exfiltration paths from AI agents and tooling on endpoints.
• Provide guidance and code review support to engineers on CorpSec.
