Worth AI, Inc. is seeking a self-on Security Engineer to strengthen vulnerability management, harden AWS, and weave application security into how we ship software.

This role is project‑driven: you’ll own initiatives end to end, from scoping a remediation effort to rolling out a new control, while also handling day‑to‑day security tickets against defined SLAs. You’ll work closely with engineering, IT, and compliance, so clear communication and follow‑through matter as much as technical depth.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of security engineering or related experience.
• Hands-on with AWS security services (IAM, VPC, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail).
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and remediation workflows.
• Knowledge of app security concepts (OWASP Top 10, SAST/DAST).
• Experience managing a ticket queue against SLAs.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability management program across endpoints, servers, and cloud.
• Triage, prioritize, and track findings to remediation.
• Harden AWS environments; implement guardrails and baselines.
• Support SAST/DAST testing in CI/CD; triage AppSec findings.
• Investigate cloud security alerts and incidents.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and compliance; report risk clearly.
• Maintain documentation and security metrics; SLAs ownership.
