Job summary

Spinwheel Solutions, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Senior Security Engineer to own the security posture of platforms, infrastructure, and AI-driven systems. This full-time role is remote, focusing on hardening systems, closing vulnerabilities, and building security processes.

You will secure cloud environments, perform proactive testing, and design AI security measures, communicating effectively with engineering stakeholders while driving security initiatives in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, infrastructure security, application security, or offensive security.
• Exceptional knowledge of the AWS ecosystem.
• Experience identifying and remediating vulnerabilities in live production systems.
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to drive projects in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong communication skills for explaining security issues to engineering stakeholders.

Hands-on and detail-driven, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will own the technical security posture of platforms, infrastructure, and AI-driven systems while working remotely to harden systems, close vulnerabilities, and build security processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure and harden cloud infrastructure, applications, APIs, and operational workflows while implementing security controls across production environments
• Continuously identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities through proactive testing and validation efforts
• Design and implement security measures for AI-driven systems, ensuring safe handling of inputs and monitoring for anomalies
