Job summary

Semaphore Technologies doo is seeking a full-time remote Security Engineer to own the security program's technical side. You will manage vulnerability assessments, operate monitoring tools, and lead incident response in collaboration with Engineering and Compliance.

This role emphasizes hands-on security in a cloud/SaaS environment, strong Linux and network skills, IAM controls, and automation using Python or Bash to streamline operations.

Qualifications

Owning the technical side of the security program, the full-time remote Security Engineer will manage vulnerability assessments, operate security monitoring tools, and lead incident response efforts while collaborating with Engineering and Compliance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Run the vulnerability-management lifecycle, including scanning, triage, and remediation
• Operate and enhance security monitoring systems and respond to security incidents
• Implement technical controls for identity and access management and automate security operations

Required qualifications

• Proven ownership of technical security in a production SaaS or cloud environment
• Strong fundamentals in Linux systems, networking, and cloud security
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and security monitoring systems
• Practical understanding of IAM, privileged access, and network controls
• Ability to automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, or similar tools
