Tiger Data, a remote-first company, seeks a Security Engineer to partner with engineering teams and uplift security across products, cloud, and developer workflows. You will write production-grade code and build secure systems in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

Ideal candidates have software or security engineering experience, comfort with Go/Rust/Python, and a strong security fundamentals background. This role is remote globally, with a focus on AI-assisted workflows and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software or security engineering.
• Ability to read and write production-grade code in Go, Rust, Python, or similar.
• Strong understanding of cloud, application, and infrastructure security.

Responsibilities

• Triage, validate, and remediate security vulnerabilities across products and infrastructure.
• Develop, maintain, and contribute to security tooling and automation.
• Perform secure code reviews, threat modeling, and security design reviews.
• Improve security automation across CI/CD, cloud, and internal platforms.
• Support incident response, investigations, and compliance initiatives.
