Job summary

Glean is hiring a security-focused software engineer to strengthen the security foundation of its Work AI platform. You will design and implement secure authentication, authorization, and encrypted communications while collaborating with engineering and product teams.

The role requires 5+ years in software development with a security focus, deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10, TLS/SSL, and modern cloud-native security practices. This is a remote US position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development with a strong security focus.
• Design and implement secure authentication/authorization systems.
• Deep understanding of secure coding practices (OWASP Top 10).
• Experience with secure communications (TLS/SSL).
• Familiarity with security testing tools and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure software for core platform features.
• Build and secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Ensure secure API communications and data storage/access controls.
• Conduct security code reviews and automated testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security in SDLC.
• Monitor threats, respond to incidents, and improve security posture.
• Document security processes, procedures, and best practices.
