Claremont McKenna College is seeking a Seasonal Application Reader (Part Time) to evaluate first-year applications for the 2026–27 cycle. The role is fully remote, with work conducted in pairs with admission staff, and requires access to a computer with high-speed internet and California residency.

The position runs November 2026 through March 2027, offering five hours per day, three weekdays per week (PT). Prior reading experience is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience reading applications in a holistic admission process preferred.
• Experience with Slate or similar systems preferred.

Responsabilités

• Read and evaluate first-year applications in pairs with admission staff.
• Write clear summaries and recommendations for each application.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of applicant information and records.
