Lucidworks is seeking a Search Engineer on the Technical Support team to help customers maximize Lucidworks Fusion, troubleshoot issues across Lucene/Solr, and surface field feedback to Product and Engineering. You will balanceDeep technical discussions with clear explanations for non-technical stakeholders while supporting government clients.

This fully remote position aligns with West Coast hours and includes an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with search technologies (e.g., Lucene/Solr, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch).
• Experience in a customer-facing, level 2–3 technical support role.

Responsibilities

• Field incoming questions and help customers configure Lucidworks Fusion and its components.
• Troubleshoot complex search issues across Lucene/Solr and related distributed systems.
• Write clear, reusable knowledge base articles for customers.
