Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java or Python.
• Experience on complex software projects with high-quality deliverables.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and SDLC concepts.
• Proficiency writing and executing test cases, scripts and plans.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, QTP, LoadRunner).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with version control (Git, Subversion).
• Understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
• Experience with defect tracking and API/state testing.
• Knowledge of databases/SQL for data validation.
• Experience testing web apps, APIs and services.
• Understanding of security testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases and procedures to ensure systems meet requirements.
• Develop test plans, schedules and approaches.
• Write test cases and scripts and identify data for scenarios.
• Walk through test cases with Test Managers and Dev leads.
• Perform and lead tests on software/IT systems to ensure defect-free operation.
• Document and communicate test results and issues.
• Support analysis of test results and issue resolution.
• Create daily test metrics and reporting.
• Contribute to test reviews and demonstrations to stakeholders.
• Possibly perform other IT engineering activities as needed.
