Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python.
• Proven track record on complex software projects with high-quality deliverables.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and SDLC concepts.
• Ability to write and execute test cases, scripts, and plans.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, QTP, LoadRunner).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with Git and Subversion for version control.
• Understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
• Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Knowledge of database/SQL for validating stored data.
• Experience testing web apps, APIs, and services.
• Understanding of security testing practices and tools.
• Exposure to various testing types: functional, regression, integration, system, usability, UAT.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures to ensure systems meet standards and user requirements.
• Create test plans and schedules and define testing approaches.
• Write test cases and scripts and select data for scenarios.
• Conduct walkthroughs with Test Managers and Leads.
• Perform and lead tests on software and IT systems to ensure defect-free operation.
• Verify work products using defined methods and appropriate environments.
• Document and communicate test results to stakeholders.
• Support analysis of test results and issue resolution.
• Develop daily test metrics and reporting.
• Occasionally perform other IT system engineering activities as needed.
• Apply technical principles to meet objectives and goals.
• Provide direction to team members per policies and management guidance.
• Demonstrate good judgment in choosing methods to obtain solutions.
• Contribute to completion of programs and projects.
• Interact with internal and external customers to resolve technical issues.
