The position is full-time with a Public Trust (MBI) clearance level preference, offering a salary range of $85,389 - $116,975 and a focus on delivering high-quality software across IT systems and APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience.
• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python and experience on complex projects.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing, including API and web tests.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and SDLC concepts.
• Proficient in writing/executing test cases, scripts, and plans; knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks/tools (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit) and test management (JIRA).
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) and defect tracking (JIRA/Bugzilla).
• Security testing awareness; ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures to ensure information systems meet standards.
• Write test cases/scripts and identify data for test scenarios.
• Conduct walkthroughs with Test Managers and Leads.
• Perform and lead tests on software/IT systems to ensure defect-free operation.
• Document and communicate test results and support issue resolution.
• Create daily test metrics and reporting.
• Provide technical solutions to challenging problems and mentor junior testers.
