Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced SDET Engineer for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will design and build automation frameworks, write production-quality test code, and partner with development teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.

The ideal candidate combines strong programming skills with testing strategy expertise across unit, integration, end-to-end, performance, and security testing in modern distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of experience as an SDET or in test-focused software engineering roles.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major UI automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Solid experience automating REST and/or gRPC APIs.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with database validation.
• Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and modern web architectures.
• Excellent debugging, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously improve automation frameworks.
• Write production-quality test code and embed quality engineering throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate with development teams to translate requirements into automated tests.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise code and design quality through reviews.
• Contribute to testing strategy across unit, integration, end-to-end, performance, and security testing.
