Job summary

LMK Infotech is seeking an experienced SDET to design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web, API, and backend services. You will collaborate with developers and QA to raise release velocity and product quality while adopting new testing tools.

The role emphasizes Java/Groovy, API testing, CI/CD integration, and cloud/test environments, with remote-first work, competitive salary, equity, and learning budget.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Java and Groovy.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, JUnit or equivalent frameworks.
• Proficiency in REST API testing using Postman or RestAssured.
• Solid SQL knowledge for database validation.
• Deep understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Git, Maven.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• AWS experience and familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) for test environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web, API, and backend testing.
• Write and run automated test scripts using Java and Groovy.
• Perform RESTful API testing and validate responses with Postman or RestAssured.
• Create and execute SQL queries for data validation in database tests.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins.
• Analyze test results, log defects, and collaborate on timely resolutions.
• Continuously research and recommend new automation tools and practices.
