Job summary

Greenlight is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test II to build scalable quality frameworks, automating tests across web, API, and mobile, and driving testing earlier in the development lifecycle.

You will design reusable test components, empower developers to own testing, and collaborate with engineers and product owners to validate customer journeys using Appium, Cypress, Kotest, and modern CI/CD pipelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a software development engineer in test.
• Experience building and using mobile and web automation using Appium and Cypress.
• Experience with API automation frameworks like Rest Assured, Kotest, etc.
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-based systems, agentic workflows, or intelligent automation is a plus.
• Experience with self-healing automation for mobile, web and API testing.
• Strong communication and planning to enable automation with the development team.

Responsibilities

• Define scope and procedures for quality engineering and automation scripts.
• Determine best automation framework fit to enable developers to own testing features.
• Design and build agent-driven test automation frameworks for web, API and mobile platforms.
• Develop AI agents for test case generation from product specs and user flows.
• Implement self-healing automation to improve stability and reduce maintenance.
• Test APIs for resiliency, latency, and performance across components.
• Extend tests into automated build tests and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to focus on key customer needs.
• Create reusable components distributed as libraries and packages.
• Triage problems with logging and plan coverage for unit, integration, and E2E testing.
