Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect - SDDC to guide post-sales data center automation initiatives, including design, deployment, and migration services. The role involves hands-on implementation and mentoring of other consultants within the team.

The position is remote with home office setup determined by SHI management. You will collaborate with sales and presales to define engagements and ensure successful outcomes for complex infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in solutions architecture or infra.
• 10+ years of experience with VMware in enterprise environments.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Strong virtualization and SDDC understanding.
• Certification in CCIE/VMCE or cloud platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform low-level design and implementation, including architecture analysis and system migration.
• Design and implement VMware VCF, Aria Automation, and private AI foundations.
• Lead and mentor other architects and consultants on projects.
• Collaborate with sales and presales to identify and close professional services opportunities.
• Provide pre-sales design, planning, and services engagements.
