Job summary

SHI International Corp. seeks a Sr. Solutions Architect - SDDC to lead post-sales data center automation initiatives. You will design, deploy, and migrate enterprise infra, enabling private clouds and modern data centers. Mentoring peers and coordinating with sales ensures successful service engagements.

This remote role with home office setup supports national coverage. Relevant certifications and 8–10+ years in infrastructure/virtualization are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and implementing data center automation initiatives (SDDC).
• Strong VMware VCF expertise and related tooling for Brownfield/Greenfield deployments.
• Hands-on experience with IaC, automation, and scripting to drive deployments.
• Ability to mentor consultants and lead project workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Perform low-level design and implementation, including migration and systems engineering.
• Lead technical design of VMware VCF, Aria Automation, and Private AI Foundation.
• Drive automation using SaltStack, Terraform, or Ansible and scripting via PowerShell/PowerCLI/JavaScript.
• Serve as technical lead and mentor teammates on projects and workshops.
• Collaborate with sales/presales to scope services opportunities and guide engagements.
