Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Technical Sales Manager (TSM) for SD‑WAN to partner with sales to build trusted customer relationships and guide deployments of our security platform. You will translate customer needs into validated SD‑WAN solutions, drawing on deep networking and security expertise.

Travel up to 50% and the ability to work remotely from Utah, with collaboration across geographies to deliver secure, scalable outcomes for our customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant technical pre‑sales systems engineering work experience within networking.
• Advanced SD‑WAN experience and BGP routing.
• Experience with WAN technologies (MPLS, MetroE, Leased Lines, Broadband).
• Knowledge of tunneling protocols SSL/TLS, IPSec, GRE, DMVPN.
• Proficient IP routing: BGP, OSPF, Static, NAT.
• Experience with virtualization (ESX, KVM, Xen) and security features (IPS/IDS, ZBF).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor on Palo Alto Networks’ SD‑WAN products with prospects and customers.
• Architect and propose validated SD‑WAN and security solutions for each environment.
• Identify problems and document solutions achievable via integrated deployments.
• Ensure ongoing customer happiness, support and adoption.
• Stay technically current and provide feedback to product teams on improvements.
• Differentiate against top competitors in the market.
• Advocate for customers and coordinate with technical teams for issue resolution.
