Job summary
Cognizant is seeking a Scrum Master to lead Agile execution for a cross-functional delivery team building secure financial technology solutions for government cloud environments. You will drive Agile best practices, facilitate ceremonies, and remove impediments to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery across product, engineering, QA, security, compliance, and client stakeholders.
This remote role is open to qualified applicants in the United States.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Agile delivery experience, including 3+ years as Scrum Master.
- Experience delivering technology solutions within financial services or regulated government cloud environments.
- Strong Scrum, Agile methodologies, servant leadership, team facilitation, and stakeholder management.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Agile dashboards, and delivery reporting.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Remove impediments and resolve delivery risks and cross-functional dependencies.
- Coordinate with Product Owners, Engineering, QA, DevSecOps, Security, and stakeholders.
- Monitor velocity, burn-up/burndown, cycle time, defect leakage, sprint health, and release readiness.
- Drive transparency, delivery predictability, continuous improvement, and adherence to Agile principles.
