Job summary
Cognizant is seeking a Scrum Master to lead Agile execution for a cross-functional delivery team delivering secure, compliant financial technology solutions in government cloud environments.
You will drive Agile best practices, facilitate ceremonies, remove blockers, manage dependencies, and ensure predictable, high-quality delivery across product, engineering, QA, security, compliance, and client stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Agile delivery experience, including 3+ years as a Scrum Master or similar role.
- Experience delivering technology solutions within regulated environments such as financial services or government cloud.
- Strong expertise in Scrum, servant leadership, team facilitation, and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Remove impediments and proactively resolve delivery risks, blockers, and dependencies.
- Coordinate execution across Product Owners, Engineering, QA, DevSecOps, Security, and Compliance.
- Monitor Agile delivery metrics such as velocity, burn-up/burndown, cycle time, and release readiness.
- Drive transparency, delivery predictability, and continuous improvement per Scrum practices.
