Job summary
Cognizant is seeking a Scrum Master to lead Agile execution for a cross-functional delivery team building secure financial technology solutions for government cloud environments. You will drive best practices, facilitate ceremonies, and remove blockers to ensure high-quality, predictable delivery across product, engineering, QA, security, and compliance.
This remote role is open to qualified applicants in the United States.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Agile delivery experience, including 3+ years as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or similar role.
- Experience delivering technology solutions within financial services, banking, capital markets, fintech, or regulated government cloud environments.
- Strong expertise in Scrum, Agile methodologies, servant leadership, team facilitation, and stakeholder management.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Agile dashboards, and delivery reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead Agile ceremonies and manage sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Remove impediments and resolve delivery risks and dependencies.
- Coordinate across Product Owners, Engineering, QA, DevSecOps, Security, Compliance, and stakeholders.
- Monitor velocity, burn-up/burndown, cycle time, defects, and release readiness.
- Drive transparency and continuous improvement in Scrum practices.
