Job summary
OmniVista Consulting seeks a Scrum Master and Agile Coach for federal product teams. This remote-first role includes occasional on-site days in the Washington, DC area, with local residency required.
You will lead Agile ceremonies, coach product owners, and help establish a Center of Excellence delivery model to sustain practices with staff constraints. You will enable government product teams, report delivery metrics, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with program managers,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5–7 years as Scrum Master or Agile coach.
- Experience coaching non-direct reports.
- Experience presenting delivery metrics to management.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Experience with SAFe or Lean portfolio planning.
- Familiarity with DevOps metrics.
- Reporting proficiency with Power BI/Tableau.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement and reviews.
- Coach product owners on backlog priority and acceptance criteria.
- Deliver practical sessions on Agile ceremonies and roadmaps.
- Prioritize improvements by value, cost, feasibility, and impact.
- Establish standard definitions of ready/done across teams.
- Blend Scrum and Kanban with WIP limits and service classes.
- Coordinate quarterly cross-team planning and dependency views.
- Build reusable Center of Excellence assets and playbooks.
