Job summary

PAR Technology is seeking a Scrum Master to empower one or more delivery teams to operate at their best. You will own the full agile ceremony lifecycle, coach teams on Scrum values, remove impediments, and foster psychological safety for high-performing delivery.

Based remotely in the US, you will partner with Delivery Managers and PDLs to drive continuous improvement, ensure productive ceremonies, and align delivery with business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Scrum Master or agile facilitation experience with a delivery team.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
• Experience coaching teams on Scrum principles and agile values.
• Experience independently facilitating retrospectives, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and daily standups.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent agile tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Design and evolve ceremony formats to match team maturity and context.
• Ensure ceremonies are productive, time-boxed, inclusive, and outcome-oriented.
• Drive retrospective action items to completion and measure improvement over time.
• Identify, log, and remove impediments to maintain focus and delivery pace.
• Coach the team on Scrum values and practices, adapting to context.
• Manage team health metrics and transparency through boards and dashboards.
