Job summary

Learner Education is seeking a Science Tutor for a remote contract role. You will tutor science subjects from 6th grade to college level, with flexibility to set your own schedule and serve students nationwide in the United States.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree, at least 3 years of teaching/tutoring, and online tutoring experience. Strong communication and reliable internet are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience.
• At least 1 year of relevant U.S. teaching or tutoring experience; must have taught or tutored within the past 2 years.
• At least 1 year of online tutoring experience.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. curriculum and grading standards.
• Ability to tutor Science subjects from 6th grade to college level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability during peak hours (Mon–Thu, 3–10 PM ET); broader availability is a plus.
• Fast and reliable internet connection.
• Quiet and professional environment.
