Job summary
Learner Education is seeking experienced Biology Tutors for remote contract work with flexible scheduling. You will teach biology from middle school through college and may also cover chemistry or environmental science. A strong online presence and ability to tutor across science subjects help maximize your schedule.
We require a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years of tutoring or teaching, 1 year of U.S. teaching experience, and online tutoring experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience.
- At least 1 year of US teaching or tutoring experience.
- Must have taught or tutored within the past 2 years.
- At least 1 year of online tutoring experience.
- Strong understanding of the U.S. curriculum and grading standards.
- Strong subject matter expertise in Biology and ability to tutor other Sciences.
- Ability to tutor Science from 6th grade to college level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability during peak hours (Mon–Thu, 3–10 PM ET) is preferred.
- Broad weekday and weekend availability is a plus.
- Fast and reliable internet connection.
- Computer with microphone and camera; stylus recommended.
