Job summary

Learner Education is seeking an Online Science Tutor to support students nationwide in remote, 1-to-1 sessions. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and extensive experience teaching or tutoring science from 6th grade through college level.

Contract position with flexible hours; tutors set their own schedule, receive high quality referrals, and join a supportive tutor community. Availability during peak US hours is preferred, with strong emphasis on clear communication and reliable

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience.
At least 1 year of relevant U.S. teaching or tutoring experience.
Must have taught or tutored within the past 2 years.
At least 1 year of online tutoring experience.
Strong understanding of the U.S. curriculum and grading standards.
Ability to tutor a range of Science subjects from 6th grade to college level.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Availability during peak hours Mon-Thu 3–10 PM ET; broader availability is a plus.
Reliable internet; computer with mic/cam; stylus recommended.
Quiet and professional environment.
