Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Contractor (1099) to screen, assess, and treat students with communication disorders. The role requires state SLP certification and ASHA CCC, with the flexibility to serve multiple schools as needed.

Responsibilities include IEP-driven therapy, collaboration with families and teachers, and supervision of SLPA/CFY as applicable. This is a remote contract position; licensure may be required in multiple states.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Three years of speech/language work experience in a public-school setting or equivalent.
• State SLP certification and ASHA CCC license required.
• Ability to work independently with at least 20 hours per week during school hours.
• Ability to work remotely with compliance to states' requirements.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate students with suspected speech-language impairments.
• Provide case management of a speech-only caseload.
• Communicate with parents and teachers to coordinate schedules and participation.
• Develop progress reports and required documentation per state specifications.
• Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants as assigned.
• Deliver rich and engaging therapy aligned with IEP goals.
• Maintain records and data to monitor student progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with SST/RTI teams as needed.
